The CE3150B is a complete constant-current/constant –voltage linear charger for single celllithium-ion batteries. Its SOT package and lowexternal component count make the CE3150Bideally suited for space limited portableapplications.Furthermore, the CE3150B is specificallydesigned to work within USB power specifications.No external sense resistor is needed, and noblocking diode is required due to the internalMOSFET architecture. Thermal feedbackregulates the charge current to limit the dietemperature during high power operation or highambient temperature. The charge voltage is fixedat VFLOAT, and the charge current can beprogrammed externally with a single resistorconnectd between PROG pin and GND. TheCE3150B automatically terminates the chargecycle when the charge current drops to 1/10th theprogrammed value after the final float voltage isreached.When the input supply (wall adapter or USBsupply) is removed, the CE3150B automaticallyenters a low current state, dropping the batterydrain current to less than 2μA. The CE3150B canbe put into shutdown mode, reducing the supplycurrent to 50μA.Other features include charge current monitor,undervoltage lockout, automatic recharge and astatus pin to indicate charge termination
