ME8620 is a single segment linear constant current LED driver with constant power function and support PWM, analog, SCR dimming. The current output range is 5 ~ 110mA, the output current and the constant power voltage compensation amplitude can be adjusted by the peripheral elements. The chip supports PWM and analog dimming functions through the DIM pin. The chip also supports SCR dimmer function, has independent current discharge path, and maintains current setting pin, compatible with all kinds of dimmers. ME8620 also supports increasing the current drive capacity to about 200 mA using the RBLD discharge current path.
The chip has the function of temperature protection. When the junction temperature of the chip exceeds the temperature protection threshold, the output current decreases. The chip is packaged with ESOP8.
